Installation & Kits
Step 1. Select Your Water Pump System Kit
Choose a water pump system based on the total number of air conditioning units you are installing. If you are fitting multiple units, you have three setup options:
Dedicated Pumps: Install a single pump kit for each individual AC unit.
Shared Pump: Use a higher-capacity pump kit to supply multiple AC units.
Hybrid Setup: Use a combination of dedicated and shared pumps to best suit your vessel's layout.
Due to supply constraints our kits can only be purchased in conjunction with a Frigomar air-conditioning unit.
This kit contains the correct parts to properly feed the right amount of sea water to the air con unit you select. The water pumps we supply have magnetically driven plastic impellers so there are no problems associated with rotating shaft seals and corrosion.
The kit contains all the hardware you need including the hose clips.
You will need to select the size of air con this system is for.

Step 2: Select Your Air System Kits
You will need one air system kit for every air conditioning unit you plan to install. Choose a kit based on how you want to distribute the airflow in each space:
Single Outlet: Ideal for smaller cabins or direct cooling.
Double Outlet: Splits the airflow into two different areas in the same cabin or two cabins.

Teak grilles are included as standard however we can also supply Black Walnut, Cherry, Maple or Oak.

The kit has been designed to meet the requirements for good airflow from the specified air con units to two outlets. We have used our experience to select parts that give the best balance of performance and ease of installation.
When both outlets will be in the same cabin the grilles are identical in size. When the outlets will be in different cabins, the primary cabin (which houses the air con unit and control panel) has the larger grille and the other (secondary cabin) has the smaller grille (which can be closed).
You need to select whether it is for a single cabin or two separate cabins and the type of wood you want.

On Board Comfort
50% More Efficient!
The new Frigomar BLDC series of air conditioning units are up to 50% more efficient compared to start/stop units. The compressor starts at very slow speeds with no peak current demand and accelerates quickly up to max speed. As room temperature approaches set point the compressor slows down keeping a constant temperature.
Ideal Size
The SCU07VFD-E is the smallest air conditioning unit in the range and offers a quiet and compact solution for on board comfort. Digital climate control and reverse cycle heating are included in the price, automatically keeping you cool when it heats up outside and warm if the temperature drops at night. The SCU07VFD is often used for cooling a small cabin such as a forward V-berth or to cool two small cabins, depending on the size and the layout of the vessel.
Reliable
Variable frequency inverter drive technology eliminates start/stop cycles, increasing energy efficiency and eliminating sharp fluctuations in air temperature and power demand. This also results in increased life span and enhanced comfort on board, when compared with older start/stop technology.
Comfortable Climate
The Inverter air conditioner finely adjusts its capacity according to thermal loads in order to maintain desired temperature without fluctuations. This combined with silent operation enables higher comfort compared to start/stop units.
