Overview

Safeguard Your Alternator When Charging Marine Lithium Batteries

Upgrading to a lithium (LiFePO4) service bank is a game-changer for onboard power, but their massive charge acceptance can quickly overheat and damage a standard marine alternator. The Cristec RCB+ Adjustable Battery Relay is designed to solve this problem. It acts as a smart gateway between your starting battery and your lithium bank, allowing you to share charging power while safely managing the current draw to protect your alternator from dangerous overworking.

Dial In Your Exact Charge Limit

Unlike fixed relays, the fully adjustable RCB+ puts you in control. Using a simple rotary dial, you can precisely limit the current delivered to your lithium bank anywhere from 30A to 120A. This ensures your alternator never runs at 100% capacity for extended periods. (We recommend keeping at least 30% of your alternator's capacity in reserve for safety).
