CRISTEC shore-power units combine in a single cabinet the AC circuit protection and a battery charger. Compact and lightweight, it provides a simple solution for safe mains cabling and reduces installation time.

Shore Power Units

If your primary need for mains power on your boat is to charge your batteries in harbour, then why not fit the Cristec Shore Power Unit; incorporating a YPOWER battery charger with a built in mains safety RCD and two, three or four MCBs for power distribution around the boat.

The battery charger function is provided by all new YPOWER 5 stage digital microprocessor controlled charging unit.

The MCBs are typically used to provide a controlled supply for:

  • wall sockets
  • water tank immersion heater element
  • small mains heating or air conditioning unit
