A fuel pump kit will be required if the generator is to be located above the mean level of the diesel fuel by a height greater than 750mm. If the level of the generator is above the fuel but not by as much, then a fuel pump kit may still be warranted if the generator is a long way from the fuel tank, say more than 5m. If you are not sure whether your installation will need a fuel pump, please feel free to contact us.
