Paguro 1500 rpm generators are lighter and more compact than other slow running generators as they are fully watercooled and use the modern Lomdardini engines, however all 1500 rpm generators are bigger than the equivalent 3000 rpm machines. Their high build quality and slow speed operation make them almost inaudible in operation and they are the preferred choice if the generator is going to be required to run almost continuously in order to provide the boats primary source of AC mains. All the power outputs quoted are the continuous rating and refer to outputs at 230 VAC.
Note: most models are also available in 120 V / 60 Hz, as indicated in the Tech Specs for each model.
