Self Contained Units

Self contained air conditioning units have the major components mounted together on a single chassis, making them ideal for installation under seating, a bunk or in a locker. A single air con unit can be used to cool each cabin, or one unit can be ducted to two cabins, saving on space and cost. The Mermaid range includes units from 6,500 - 16,500 BTU, perfect for cooling boats from 25' up to 70'. We supply all units complete with reverse cycle and an FX-1 digital control for complete climate control. With Mermaid reverse cycle air-con on board you can relax in the cool when the heat gets too much and can warm up when the sun goes down.
