To ensure peace of mind, your marine generator should be installed properly and that starts with using the right parts of the best quality

Marine Generator Installation Kit

Our installation kit contains the same high quality parts we use in our own installations and is the most comprehensive kit available on the market.  Each sub-kit is boxed separately to make it easy for you or your installer to plan and carry out your installation efficiently.

Silent Exhaust Kit

This optional kit features a Halyard gas/water separator and is recommended for quieter operation.  It enables the cooling water in the exhaust to exit below the waterline with the exhaust gas exiting above the waterline.  This eliminates the ‘sploshing’ sound from the exhaust and has the secondary benefit of being an additional silencer.

Siphon Break Kit

This kit is required if the base of the generator is to be located close to or below the waterline (including heeled waterline).  It prevents water siphoning into the exhaust system and back flooding the engine when it is stopped.

Fuel Pump Kit

A fuel pump kit is only required if the generator is to be located above the mean level of the diesel fuel by a height greater than 750mm. If the level of the generator is above the fuel but not by as much, then a fuel pump kit may still be warranted if the generator is a long way from the fuel tank, say more than 5m.
