London Boat Show Review

Thank you to all who visited our stand at London Boat Show. It was great to be able spend time talking to prospective customers in detail about their projects and to have a good chat with our existing customers.
The show saw the launch of the new 9000V and 12000V variable speed generators from Paguro. Incredibly light and compact, these generators are extremely quiet and smooth running. In addition, as we have just been appointed the new Distributor for Westerbeke generators in UK, we also had a lovely red Westerbeke 5.7 EDT, featuring D-NET on display.
Our generator and inverter packages, coupling a Studer Xtender (the most advanced bi-directional converter on the market) in parallel with a generator, were of great interest; not only have we been supplying and installing these systems for over 6 years, we have one on our own boat, so have a lot of experience; all good!
There was a lot of interest in the Cristec range of battery chargers, shore-power units and associated power management equipment. Having recently been appointed UK distributor for this major brand, we are delighted to announce that the reputation that Cristec have for high quality at a good price has resulted in them winning Bavaria Yachtbau as a customer. Cristec are already the battery charger of choice for many major boat builders and vehicle manufacturers: Jeannuea, Beneteau, Dufour, Alubat, Delphia, J Boats, Zodiac, Suzuki, Falk, Renault Ambulances.
Our Dessalator watermakers proved popular as ever and the stylish new fully automatic digital remote panel for the PRO series drew lots of attention from our regular trade buyers.

Taking part in the ARC?

Many of our customers take part in the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers which leaves in November from Gran Canaria, arriving in St Lucia in December. In addition to the Dessalator agent based on Gran Canaria, Advance Yacht representatives will be present in Las Palmas Marina to check installations and answer any questions customers may have. This service is free of charge and part of our commitment to provide the best service to our customers. Dessalator have a factory-trained representative in Rodney Bay, Egbert Charles of Marintek, who has a stand in the ARC Village to welcome participants.
We will be in Las Palmas from 11 - 14 November. Customers who are taking part in the 2011 ARC who would like to arrange a visit in Las Palmas should contact us by 8 November with the following information:

Advance Yacht Systems, the UK’s leading specialist in on-board systems for power, desalination and climate control, launched their new website this month. The site is packed with detailed information about their product ranges and includes the facility to purchase both products and spares on-line.
