Advance Yacht specialise in those on-board systems; generators, watermakers, air conditioning and electrical power management that extend the comfort and facility of modern luxury yachts.

Set up in 2005 by Managing Director, Rod Boreham, whose background as an engineer and project manager in the airline industry has ensured that we take a disciplined and professional approach in all that we do.

With a reputation for excellent customer service and unrivalled technical support, Advance Yacht provides a complete service from system supply and design through to installation, commissioning, spares and worldwide support.

All of our marine products are made of high quality components, ensuring they are reliable and durable, whilst being simple to operate and maintain. Our manufacturers are established companies who supply many of the major boat builders around the world.

As keen sailors, both blue water cruising and racing, all of our team have first hand experience of on board power and live-aboard systems.

Based in Romsey just off junction 2 or 3 of the M27, we are always happy for you to drop in and discuss your requirements with our experienced team.

We exhibit at both the London Boat Show and Southampton Boat Show where we are always pleased to see existing customers and welcome new ones.

We have our own demonstration boat located at Berthon Marina in Lymington, equipped with a Paguro generator, Mermaid Marine Air conditioning unit, Studer Xtender and Dessalator watermaker- where you can come and see our equipment in action.

‘I purchased a Paguro 3000 generator, inverter/charger and a Dessalator water maker from Advance Yacht Systems over two years ago and since then I have been extremely impressed by the company’s level of customer support.  The equipment has performed very well, not only during two seasons in the Mediterranean but also during Arc 2009, in the Caribbean and the return to Europe. When technical issues have arisen (and these were minor), Rod Boreham has provided first class service by email or telephone both in and out of office hours to sort matters out, which has been very reassuring and supportive, particularly on the high seas.  Advance Yacht systems also went out of their way to help me initially to find an experienced installer of the kit in the south of France where my boat is normally based.’
